ref. warrants to the original purchaser that our furniture will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ten (10) years from the date of purchase. This warranty applies only to items manufactured by ref. This warranty is subject to the limitations, exclusions, and other terms and conditions set forth below.
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that arise during normal indoor residential use of our furniture. The warranty does not cover the following:
Damage caused by misuse, abuse or neglect.
Damage caused by accidents or mishaps.
Damage caused by exposure to sunlight or other environmental factors.
Normal wear and tear
Natural markings and variations in fabrics, leathers and woods
Color or texture variations between different pieces of furniture or different parts of the same piece
Any modifications or alterations made to the furniture by the purchaser or a third party.
Humidity or temperature related issues
Chips, scratches and marks made by misuse.
This warranty lasts for ten (10) years from the date of purchase by the original purchaser.
In the event of a warranty claim, ref. will repair or replace the defective product, at our option. If we determine that repair or replacement is not feasible, we may elect to refund the purchase price of the product. The customer will have to cover expenses related to shipping the product.
This warranty is not transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. It does not cover any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the furniture. This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty offered by ref. and all other warranties, express or implied, including without limitation any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby disclaimed.
To be eligible for warranty coverage, the furniture must be used only for its intended purpose and must be properly maintained in accordance with the care instructions provided by ref. Any modifications made to the furniture after purchase will void this warranty.
To make a warranty claim, the original purchaser must contact ref. customer service by phone or email within ten (10) years of the date of purchase. The purchaser must provide proof of purchase, signed warranty sheet and a detailed description of the defect. ref. may require the purchaser to provide photographs of the defect, or to return the product to us for inspection. If the defect is covered by this warranty, ref. will repair or replace the product, or provide a refund, as described above.
