At ref., we strive to deliver high-quality, bespoke furniture that meets your exact specifications and needs. However, due to the personalized nature of our products, we have a strict cancellation policy to ensure fairness and efficiency in our process.

  1. Initial Phase: Once your order is placed, we begin the initial phase of work, which includes creating technical drawings and preparing samples for your approval. During this stage, significant resources and time are invested to ensure your custom piece is tailored to your specifications.

  2. Approval Process: You will receive technical drawings and samples for review and approval. It is crucial to communicate any changes or concerns during this phase. Once you approve the drawings and samples, production will commence based on the agreed-upon design.

  3. Cancellation Requests:

    • Before Approval: If you wish to cancel your order before approving the technical drawings and samples, please contact us immediately at info@ref-co.ca. While we may consider the cancellation, please note that a portion of the deposit may be non-refundable to cover the work already completed.
    • After Approval: Once the technical drawings are signed and approved, the order is final and cannot be canceled. By signing the approval, you agree that the piece meets your specifications, and we proceed with production accordingly. If you later decide that you do not like the piece, we cannot accept cancellations or returns, as the item was created based on your approved design.
  4. Customer Obligations: We prioritize understanding and fulfilling our customers' needs. However, effective communication is essential throughout the design and approval process. We cannot be held responsible for any dissatisfaction arising from a lack of communication or failure to provide timely feedback on the drawings and samples.
